Sun Chemical has developed a program designed to help students obtain the tools they need and hands-on training required to understand every aspect of the ink business in the flexographic printing process.
Central Piedmont Community College will break ground this fall on three construction projects being funded from a 2013 Mecklenburg County bond issue. The projects are among ten, totaling about $280 million, funded by the bonds.
PSA Airlines, a regional airline headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, and a subsidiary of the American Airlines Group, wanted its crew members to be prepared in the event of an emergency on one of its aircraft. After all, in-flight medical emergencies occur in about 1 in every 604 flights according to the New England Journal of Medicine.
That's why the team partnered with CPCC's Paramedic program and requested the college's students train its crew on administering care in a close-quarters environment, such as an aircraft aisle or seat. Video
