CPCC Dedicates Building to Honor Dr. Kathy Drumm

Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) dedicated its facilities services building today in honor of retired executive vice president and long-time college administrator Dr. Kathy H. Drumm.

The college dedicated the building, located on 7th street in Charlotte, on CPCC's Central Campus, in recognition of Drumm's more than 25 years of exemplary service to the college and community. As CPCC executive vice present from 1998 to 2014, Drumm was instrumental in guiding the college's growth and ensuring its vitality and responsiveness to the needs of its students and Mecklenburg County.

The building, now known as the Kathy H. Drumm Facilities Services Building, served as the site of the 10 a.m., dedication ceremony. Those speaking during the ceremony included Dr. Tony Zeiss, CPCC president; Ed Dalrymple, chair of the CPCC Board of Trustees; Thomas Norman, chair of the CPCC Foundation Board of Directors; Pat Rodgers, president and CEO of Rodgers Builders; and Dr. Drumm.
