Gifts of Real and Personal Property

Gifts of real estate and other personal property are an excellent way to support Central Piedmont. These gifts provide you with a charitable deduction and potential savings on capital gains, income and federal estate taxes. You can also deed property to the college, while retaining the lifetime right of occupancy. Please see our Gift-in-Kind Procedures and Guidelines here.

For more information, contact Vanessa Stolen at 704.330.6869.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations will match employees' charitable contributions. Most often they will double the amount of the original gift. Some companies will even match gifts made by retired employees or spouses of current employees. Reference the Foundation's EIN #56-0890420 when making your request.

Find out here if your (or your spouse's) company has a matching gift policy.
Gift Disclosure Statement
The Central Piedmont Community College Foundation (EIN: #56-0890420) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization established in 1965 to generate private financial support to further the mission of Central Piedmont Community College. Your gift to the Foundation is tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. You will receive a gift acknowledgment letter or email soon after your gift is received.

It is a common practice among colleges, universities, and other non-profit organizations to modestly assess an administrative fee on endowment funds in order to offset costs associated with the management and administration of the endowment investments and individual endowment funds. The Foundation calculates the fee at 1% of the endowment fund's market value at the beginning of each fiscal year. The fee is reviewed by the Central Piedmont Community College Foundation Finance Committee annually.
